4 reasons why outsourcing an event is a good idea

The annual barbecue in the summer or Christmas drinks party in December are activities that can easily be organized yourself. Complex or larger events, such as major corporate events for (potential) customers and staff parties, are often better outsourced to an experienced event partner. Of course, the choice depends on the budget and time available.

Experience & know-how

There is a lot involved in organizing an event. It is important that all the individual elements fit together seamlessly. Event agencies have a lot of experience with this and will ensure that your event runs smoothly, so that you can focus fully on the attendees. Event planners are also aware of the latest trends, so you can create a high-quality event thanks to the latest gadgets.

Counteracting corporate blindness

Of course, an event agency does not (yet) know your company as well as the employees of your own communications department. But that is not a problem at all when you start working together. Your new sparring partner has an objective view of the company, which makes it clear how strengths can be emphasized, but also how weaknesses can be transformed into opportunities. All you need is a good briefing!

The right network

During a brainstorming session, you often come up with meaningful insights into how you can get more out of your event. Do you already have an idea of what the event should look like? Then it's time to choose the right partners. It can sometimes be difficult to see the forest for the trees. What's more, there is a big difference in quality and price between the many different suppliers. Event agencies have an extensive network. They know how to find the right partners for decoration and catering at a good price.

The time factor

When your own marketing or communications department organizes your event, they take on more responsibilities and have less time to perform their daily tasks. Consider carefully whether there is enough time for this. By outsourcing the organization of your event, your own employees can focus fully on their daily work. This is extremely important. Outsourcing also means that you no longer have to bear the responsibility for certain risks yourself, and working with an event agency also ensures continuity (for example, in the event of illness).

Of course, hiring an external party comes with a price tag, but the costs are clear from the start of the collaboration. Thanks to their knowledge and network, an event agency works efficiently. With self-organized events, internal costs can sometimes remain vague.

SugarFactory

Perhaps your company does not have the time, necessary know-how, or creativity to organize a high-quality event. The team at SugarFactory is happy to advise you. We have a network of partners with whom we enjoy working to make your event at our industrial event location near Amsterdam unforgettable.
