On December 13 2016, the new film from the Star Wars series premiered: Rogue One. The premiere was organized for press and a select group of Star Wars fans. Especially for them, the Pulppersloods turned this day into a true 3D cinema.
During the opening night the press first got the opportunity to see the unique formation in the venue. At the arrival of the group of fans all were warmly received in the Binnenstraat, where several live-action characters surprised the guests.
After the reception the audience went to see the first preview of the new Walt Disney movie. The evening ended with an after-party for the guests, while the first reviews took shape.
The story takes place between Star Wars movies Parts 3 and 4 and explains how the rebels come to the secret plans to the Death Star. Many critics are enthusiastic about the film. The reviews often say that the film is more realistic than the previous parts.
From Thursday, December 14th 2016, the film can also be seen in Dutch cinemas. In America, the film will premiere a week later.
