On July 5, 2016 SugarCity was the setting for Content, the new concept of MPI Netherlands. During Content 200 meeting and events professionals came together to get inspiration. Several speakers took on each other by giving an extra long pitch. They did this by keeping a short pitch in parallel. Who they listened to, that was up to the visitor!
Prior to the event, plenty of interaction was sought with the visitors. The speakers were chosen online by the visitors. The potential speakers with the most votes were given the opportunity to enter the oral battle during the event. Only the most interesting pitchers were given extra time and the absolute attention of the guests. The day was accompanied by chairman Loek Peters, who mainly celebrated the ropes in order not to hinder creativity.
Besides the pitch podium in the Middenfabriek, the Binnenstraat and Pulppersloods were also used. The Binnenstraat was beautifully decorated with one long lunch table, where no less than 200 guests could eat at the same time. The Pulppersloods was transformed into an industrial lounge-bar.
