TV producers are always on the lookout for new and unusual locations. If you’ve ever seen the Dutch version of The Voice, you may have spotted our industrial spaces being used as a set. The Pulppersloods is much in demand for TV productions.
The Pulppersloods’s imposing pillars, brick walls and high windows make this former sugar factory’s rich history almost tangible. It makes a highly unusual filming location, with rough-edged industrial details being used to create mystery and suspense.
The Voice of Holland, the Dutch version of The Voice, was shot in the Middenfabriek at SugarFactory. The spaces have also been used as sets for the drama series Penoza and Vlucht HS13.
The Pulppersloods connects to the Middenfabriek and the Binnenstraat. The Binnenstraat is easily converted into a production office.
